Part 3: Building the Business
It's time to grow the company, and it is quickly becoming clear that CPR needs adult supervision. Rey teaches the founders the basics of corporate boards, the founders fail to hire their dream engineer, and the CPR factory is a mess.
Part 4: The B Round
Virus Ventures helps CPR close a Series B without a single pitch. The board adds Silicon Valley and robotics legends. Tiff steps down as CEO and her replacement demonstrates immense managerial talent. Don delivers a Ted Talk.
Part 5: The C Round
Under Tym, CPR clarifies its business model and raises a new round with a new investor. As CPR scales, the McFlipper begins to have a social impact. Plumb returns, urging Norm to stop CPR before it is too late.
Part 7: The IPO
Corbett and Tym hit the road to sell the IPO. After initial successes with mutual funds, a respected robotics analyst passes on the IPO. Curtis helps to price and allocate the IPO while navigating the differing incentives of CPR and Jensen King. The
Part 8: Stressors To Governance
CPR is now a public company. The McFlipper has an accident; Norm and Ellen blame the lack of testing. CPR is hacked and pays off the ransom.
Part 9: Public Life
Foster pushes Sarah and Corbett to account aggressively to hit their projections. The new testing expenses place the board under pressure, so Tym and Corbett search for a cure for CPR's shrinking margins. Ellen tries to resign.
